Pimping a posh SUV

The Acura RDX is s first in compact luxury crossover SUV. It was originally seen as the Acura RD-X concept car, but was late altered to be the production RDX it is now and had its debut at the 2006 New York Auto Show and went on sale on August 11, 2006.
The RDX was inspired by the MDX as Acura’s neophyte crossover form of SUV. While the MDX continues to invest on the growth of its space not to mention price, the Acura invested on minimized style as well as providing to be a cheaper alternative. Although the dimensions of the vehicle are similar to that of the Honda CR-V, Acura claims the ownership of the use of a unique platform developed to handle the vehicle’s much coveted all-wheel drive system.
